I showed a cut of my film to a few people within my Target Audience, in this I asked some questions based on what they have just seen. In these questions I asked about my characters, the plot and how it could be improved. To show my results I decided to record the interviews in a Pod cast format as well as asking them to write down their answers.
During the creation of my short film I conducted several focus groups, this was a chance to talk to my audience and see what they would like to see and how they view stereotypes and representations within the issues of my film. In the presentation I show step by step of what happened in the groups and how that developed or changed by film.
To find out about my target Audience I compiled a questionnaire. I wanted to find out personal information of my audience but also what their viewing habits are and their knowledge and understanding of films. To make it easier for my audience to do the questionnaires I sent them via emails. Seeing as my Target audience use computers in their everyday lives and that they have email addresses this was the best way to get a response.
